What is ayurveda?
In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life.” Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago

The concept of Panchamahabhuta (five basic elements) has been scientifically explained in Ayurveda. Panchamahabhuta are important components of the body. It is the five basic constituents which exist in the universe and human beings; they are Akasha(ether),Vayu(air),Agni(fire),jala(water)and Prithvi(earth)
What is tridosha?
Tridoshas are the three humors or forces of the body, which bring health when in balance, and produce diseases when out of balance. The three doshas are called Vata, Pitta and KaphaVata dosha consist of a combination of ether and air elements
Pitta dosha consist of a combination of water and fire elements
Kapha dosha consist of a combination of water and earth elements
What is 'Datus'?
The controlling forces or doshas act on the tissues of the body known as 'datus' and help in the various physiological functions
Names of 'datus'
In common terms, the seven types of Dhatus are plasma, blood, muscle, fat, bone, bone marrow and reproductive fluid. In Ayurveda, they are called Sapta Dhatus - Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja and Sukhra respectively.
The waste products formed as a result of various physiological functions of human body are known as 'malah'
Examples of 'malah's are stools,urin,gases,sweat etc
